Gini Group was formed in 1963 in Mumbai and is primarily involved in the manufacture of Textile Fabrics and Yarn. We are the leading manufacturers of Shirting Fabrics having a pan India distribution network as well as a strong presence in the global markets. For the last five decades, GINI is the market leader in shirting fabrics. With the winds of liberalization and globalization reaching India, the group entered the booming construction industry in the year 2000. We started with the development of a 70,000 sq. ft. Information Technology Park VIP PLAZA at Andheri (West), Mumbai which was completed in the year 2003 and has since become an iconic landmark in the area. This I.T. Park was developed in place of the groups existing Fabric Processing Unit which was relocated to Tarapur in Thane, Maharashtra. Encouraged by the result of this venture and the favourable market conditions and positive support for the Housing & Construction industry provided by the Government, we decided to enter into residential development. Accordingly, we shifted the focus of our development activities to the upcoming hub of Navi Mumbai. We started with the development of GINI HABITAT (4,000. sq. ft.), followed by GINI CLASSIC (7,000 sq. ft.), GINI RESIDENCY (15,000 sq. ft.), GINI PARK (38,000 sq. ft.) and finally GINI PLAZA (63,000 sq. ft.). In 2007, to attain bigger scale we shifted the focus of our activities to the fast developing city of Pune. Pune has grown into a bustling vibrant metropolitan city attracting people by the millions due to its fast growing I.T. sector and automobile industry. It is also home to some of the leading educational institutes in India. We started our activities in Pune with the development of 'SANSKRUTI' - an integrated residential complex of 2BHK & 3BHK apartments adding up to 384 units (approx. 400,000 sq. ft.), complete with all modern amenities and luxuries. This development was successfully completed in the year 2010. With the success of our development projects in Pune and keeping in mind the future we have established a central office in Pune at Camp to cater to all our current and future projects. In keeping with our philosophy of providing quality and affordable homes we have built up a young and dedicated team of more than 70 employees to ensure total customer satisfaction and timely completion of our projects. Recently, encouraged by the tremendous growth prospects and backing provided by the State to Industry, we have started development activities in the vibrant state of Gujarat. We are currently developing a residential complex of luxurious 3 BHK apartments at Ahmedabad.
